Samsung is making a high-end flip phone that looks like a Galaxy S8, but there’s a catch

You might not see many (if any at all) flip phones around these days, but that does not mean that the form factor is dead.
In fact, Samsung is preparing to release a brand new high-end flip phone that features Galaxy S8-like styling. At least according to these leaked pictures that portray what looks a nearly finalized device. Keep in mind, though, that Samsung has not officially confirmed the existence of the model just yet.

LG V30 schematic leaks: Dual rear camera remains a staple, but no sign of a secondary display

With the LG V30 slated for an August 30 announcement, it’s only natural for more and more leaks and rumors to start popping out. The latest one is what’s claimed to be an excerpt from the phone’s manual and gives us a rather nondescript look at LG’s soon-to-come handset.

It doesn’t take a genius to spot the similarities between the V30 schematic and the company’s G6 flagship – we’ve got the same slim bezels all-around the front, with the top and bottom one a bit more pronounced, a dual-camera at the rear, and last but not least, what seems to be a 9:18 FullVision display. …

Kuo: LG is going to make OLED screens for Apple’s 2018 iPhones

Industry sources have been tipping that Apple might move to OLED for good, and is looking to diversify with LG as a supply alternative to Samsung, fronting it no less than $2.7 billion as an advance payment for securing a production line dedicated entirely to iPhone displays, starting in 2019. Where there is smoke, there is fire, and now famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities is confirming in his own turn that Apple is indeed working with LG on OLED panel supplies, and sooner.
